1983, watching a TVE program presented by Jose María Iñigo, suddenly presents a new dance that came from the United States, Breakdance, they were Ozono and Turbina, the protagonists of Breakdance The Movie. Raised in a musical environment dominated by EW&F, Marvin Gaye, George Benson, Groover Washington JR, The Philly Sound, Barry White, Dionne Warkwick to name a few, DeejayKul discovers an extension of the music he loves but made in a different way, with synthesizers and drum machines, accompanied by a mesmerizing dance that would accompany him through many years. From there, unconditional love for all electronic black sounds, boogie, disco funk, electro funk, labels such as Prelude or Solar in California, the first glimpses of house music that marked this now producer and dj and shaped all the elements that make up his music. This album is neither more nor less than a sincere tribute to all those sounds that marked a time for DeejayKul. With a pun on the initials, under the name of Peddy Tendergrass, one of my favorite vocalists of all time.
I hope you enjoy it like DeejayKul creating it.
A project that began to take shape in 2013 and now finally sees the light.

1983, viendo un programa de TVE presentado por Jose María Iñigo, de repente presenta un nuevo baile que llegaba desde estados unidos, el Breakdance, eran Ozono y Turbina, los protagonistas de, Breakdance The Movie. Criado en un entorno musical donde predominaban EW&F, Marvin Gaye, George Benson, Groover Washington JR, The Philly Sound, Barry White, Dionne Warkwick por poner algunos ejemplos, DeejayKul descubre una extensión de la música que ama pero fabricada de una forma diferente, con sintetizadores y cajas de ritmo, acompañado de un baile hipnotizante que lo acompañaría a traves de muchos años. A partir de ahí, amor incondicional por todos los sonidos negros electrónicos, boogie, disco funk, electro funk, sellos como por ejemplo Prelude o Solar en California, primeros atísvos de la música house que marcaron a este ahora productor y dj y conformaron todos los elementos que conforman su música. Este disco no ni más ni menos que un sincero tributo a todos esos sonidos que marcaron una época para DeejayKul. Con un juego de palabras con las iniciales, bajo el nombre de Peddy Tendergrass, uno de mis vocalistas preferidos de todos los tiempos.
Espero que lo disfrutéis como DeejayKul creandolo.
Un proyecto que empezó a gestarse en el año 2013 y que ahora por fin, ve la luz.
